| Park City |
| Park City has three world-class resorts, located within 5 mi/8 km of each other, in one exciting, historic mining town. Started in the 1880’s with silver-mining, this area which hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic Games is famous for its dry, light powder snow. This quaint resort town boasts over 100 restaurants and bars, a multitude of shops and galleries, plenty of day spas and health clubs and endless skiing terrain. Park City has many lodging options for all budget levels, ranging from slope side condominiums to some of the finest hotels. The Historic Town of Park City is located 36 mi/58 km east of the Salt Lake City International Airport, which hosts over 800 scheduled daily flights. Car rentals, shuttle service and limousines are available from the airport, and there is a complimentary city-wide transportation system in the town which also has connections to the resort areas. There is an International Ski Pass which allows one to ski at any one of these three major ski areas. www.parkcityinfo.com |
